Hey Kids
This month we will be learning about Kingdom Culture. Each week we will look at a different way that God teaches us to live. We will learn how to pray, read our Bible, serve, fast, rest and how to spend alone time with God. These things will teach us how to have a meaningful relationship with our Lord Jesus.
LAST WEEK we learnt that we can grow closer to God by reading our Bible.
THIS WEEK we will learn about fasting and how it can deepen our relationship with God.

Words to Remember
“And when you fast, don’t make it obvious, as the hypocrites do, for they try to look miserable and disheveled so people will admire them for their fasting. I tell you the truth, that is the only reward they will ever get. But when you fast, comb your hair and wash your face. Then no one will notice that you are fasting, except your Father, who knows what you do in private. And your Father, who sees everything, will reward you. Matthew 6:16-18
