STORMco is a youth service program that sends teams to remote areas to learn from, encourage and serve the people of the local communities. Kellyville.Church has visited the Nyngan township for more than 10 years with teams of young people to run a free Kids Club and Youth program during school holiday times. Through games, kids activities and community service it is a privilege to go into a community to serve and work with the young people.

STORM Co, is built on the five foundations:

NO AGENDA! - As we enter a community we seek to Listen, then serve where a need can be meet.

NO EXPECTATIONS! - As we enter into a community we don’t expect any compensation and commit to serve, no matter what the need is, or who is in need.

NO WALLS! - As a team we serve regardless of the faith of those we serve or the faith of the members of the team.

NO LIMITS! - The team seeks to maintain a relationship with the community, year after year. We return and build positive influence in the community.

NO FEAR! - We are not afraid to stand for a God who prioritised serving others. he came “not to be served, but to serve”

Training

As a team member you will be given training in various aspects of serving with young people. If you bring skills, great! if not, you will build new ones … anyone who makes themselves available will find a home on a STORMco team and return home challenged and changed.

TEAM

The team is the most important part of STORMco. Working together means that we can achieve more than on our own. You are expected to be a loyal part of the team, to serve the community and to serve each other. Along with the training, we will create spaces and activities that enable you to be part of this amazing, life changing team.
