Hey Kids
We have been following the storyline of God's rescue plan for us from the very first bad choice that threw the world into chaos. In our last series One of A Kind we explored the perfect choices of Jesus. This month we will see how faithful Jesus is to rescue us from death. He shows us how to live, love and serve the kingdom of God now and forever. He gives us New Life right now.
THIS WEEK we are exploring the new promise Jesus made for all mankind, a new promise that made the old one between God and Abraham disappear.
Bible Texts —Luke 22:7-20. Jeremiah 31:31-33. Hebrews 8:1-13.
Words to Remember
Christ himself died for you. And that one death paid for your sins. He was not guilty, but he died for those who are guilty. He did this to bring you all to God. His body was killed, but he was made alive in the spirit. 1 Peter 3:18 ICB

GET CREATIVE!!!
It’s time to make an invitation. You can use paper, cardboard or even an app on your phone to create this invitation. Your heading is “YOU’RE INVITED”
Jesus invites us to be part of His family, not some of us… ALL OF US! However not everybody knows this. Make an invitation to let someone know they are part of God’s family and they are loved!
Guess the Antiques…
Watch the video clip below. Do you know any of the items ? Do you know what they do? How different is it to what we use today ? Would you rather use the antique or the new and improved items?
These items were useful once but they needed to change. They had to make way for something new and better.
We’ve read how the Israelites sacrificed lambs as part of Passover. We also know the Bible refers to Jesus as the Lamb of God. Jesus was the newer and better Lamb. When He died on the cross He became the ultimate sacrifice for all of mankind’s sins.
BALLOON BUILDING
Grab a bunch of balloons and masking tape and start building a balloon tower.
It’s easy to make a promise and we sometimes make many of them, but its also easy to break a promise.
Throughout the Bible we’ve read a few stories of someone who never breaks His promises… HE ALWAYS STICKS TO THEM!
God made promises to Noah, Abraham and to us too. How wonderful is it to know He won’t break His promises!
