Hey Kids

How do we see God?

Where do we see God?

Psalm 19:1-2 (Paraphrase) Tells us that

The heavens are singing about how great God is;

and the skies are shouting it out, “See what God has made!”

Day after day…. Night after night …..

They are speaking to us.

This week we are going to explore our bibles and our world to see how great God is.

Bible Texts —Psalm 19: 1-2. 1 John 4:8-10 John 1:3

Words to Remember - Playhouse

Words to Remember Treehouse.

... God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love to us: He sent his only Son into the world to give us life through him. 10 True love is God’s love for us, not our love for God. God sent his Son to die in our place to take away our sins. 1 John 4:8-10, ICB

Make this Yes Jesus loves me card by tracing your hand on a folded piece of card then write the words in the middle of each palm.

Your hands can say I love you by how they help others. Can you think of ways that you can help using your hands to say I love you?

Click on this link from Flame Creative Kids and find out how to make a heart prayer chain. Love links us together and so does prayer. When we pray for others, Gods love links us together just like the chain of hearts. Who are you praying for?

Print out our Words to Remember for this week and decorate the page with all that you love, or you can make it into a card and share it with someone you love.

Try exploring your backyard, the local park or go on a walk through the bush with your family. Listen to the sounds around you and look up through the trees. How many different types of leaves can you see and how many different types of birds and or bugs can you see or hear?

If you can’t get outside today check out this bush walk from New Zealand. Do the birds and bigs sound different to our Australian birds and bugs?
