Hey Kids
Our series for this month is is called Into the Fire. It is part six of The Storyline of the Redeeming love of Jesus . In this series we are exploring the Adventures of the Israelites through the book of Exodus. We begin with the story of Joseph and we will end at the wall of Jericho hundreds of years later. From Joseph to Joshua we will discover the good the bad and the ugly and find out that God’s plans for his family are good, and that no matter what evil has planned for us, Jesus has plans to turn it into good. By Choosing to live love and serve like Jesus we can be a part of his great plans.
THIS WEEK marks the end of our INTO THE FIRE series. This week we see how Joshua was faithful to lead even when the instructions seemed weird.
How can we be faithful to live love and serve right where we are, just like Joshua.
We are celebrating, along with the Israelites, God’s good plans to bring us to the promised land.
Jesus is our promised land.
What kind of things are we letting build up between him and us?
Let’s get good at asking Jesus for help to choose him first always, just like Joshua.

A PINATA
Have fun building your very own Piñata.
What kind of goodies will you put inside?
Jesus love is the sweetest! He wants nothing to come between us and him. No matter what, choose Jesus, let him wrap your life, your family, your friends your community in love.
BUILDING A LEGO WALL
How big will your wall be?
Use all your lego pieces to create your wall.
Now try to break it down.
Lego is tough to break apart when you have made a wall out of it.
Jesus calls us to build good things with him. Imagine what you could build with Jesus.
Good friendship, good families, good habits?
Know that if something bad has built up in our life, just like the walls of Jericho, Jesus knows how to knock that bad stuff out.
Piñata Play
To play this game you need to hit the piñata to get to the yummy things inside. Each child takes turns at hitting the piñata until it breaks open.
Jesus wants nothing to come between you and him.
That is why he died and came back to life. Only Jesus could break down the power of death. He did this for us.
Every time we hit the piñata think about sweet it is to live with Jesus. Let nothing come between you and him.
You will need:
Hanging Piñata with snacks inside.
Blind folds
Stick
Tape to mark out hitting zone.
