Hey Kids
We have finally arrived at the place in the storyline that all the other stories have been building up to. Actually its not a place, its a person, God, born as a baby named Jesus.
In this series we are exploring how Jesus is One of a Kind, the only one who can lead us home forever with him.
THIS WEEK This week we meet John the Baptist, a weird way out guy who told everyone to get ready for Jesus. John tells us that Jesus is the Lamb of God and that he, Jesus, can save the world.
Bible Texts —John 1:1-19, 29-34. Colossians 1:15-23. Philippians 2:6-11.
Words to Remember
“The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”
John 1:29

PADDLE POP ART
Use paddle pop sticks to create this abstract art. Can you see what the hidden message word/name is? Could you see it straight away and recognise the name? Looking for and at Jesus is the best thing to do ever!!!!
Hanging Hand Print
Have you ever really looked at your hand.
Hands are amazing!!! They can do all sorts of things good and bad. Hands only do what you let them do. What can you do with your hands?
God gave us hands to help each other. You are handmade by God, precious and loved greatly.
For this activity you will need to trace your hand on some paper and cut it out.
Glue your cut out hand onto some card or a paper plate.
Write God made me across the top of your hand.

There is nothing that Jesus cant clean up, clear away or make a way through. Our Jesus is our way maker miracle worker and best promise keeper for all time. Try this experiment and know that love makes a way when everything seems messy.
LIGHTING SMOKE ON FIRE.
Make a candle light after you’ve put it out. Isn’t that mind blowing and exciting?
Almost as mind blowing as the Creator of the universe sending His Son to take away our sins.
Can you imagine how excited people must have been once they realised who Jesus was?
A prophecy is a prediction of something that will happen in the future… follow the steps and write an important message on a piece of paper. (The “ink” needs to dry before the message can be revealed.)
Throughout the old testament there were lots of prophecies that foretold Jesus our Saviour is coming. God fulfilled this prophecy and Jesus was born to save mankind. People waited a long time and through thousands of years this important message never got lost or forgotten because that’s how God intended it to be.
People trusted and had faith the prophecy will come true… AND IT DID! Jesus came!
We have another prophecy to look forward to… Jesus is coming again!
I HEAR YOU
Buddy up into pairs
Blindfold one of the buddies.
The unblindfolded buddy distances themselves from their partner.
When the game begins the blindfolded child listens for the voice of their buddy.
They move around until they can hear their friend and walk towards their friend.
When buddies reunite, swap blindfolds and do it again.
How hard was it to hear your friends voice? Was there lots of other noise going on?
Sometimes our world gets so noisy its hard to hear anything clearly.
DON’T WORRY.
Jesus had sent the Holy Spirit to talk straight to our heart and up to our head and into our ears. From the inside out Jesus talks to us and changes us, so we can hear him no matter how crazy loud the world gets.
We would love to see you playing, trying, making and sharing! Please share your photos with your KellyvilleKids community in our WhatsApp Group. If you’re new to our KellyvilleKids community and would like to stay connected, contact us.
