Hey Kids
Our series for this month is is called Into the Fire. It is part six of The Storyline of the Redeeming love of Jesus . In this series we are exploring the Adventures of the Israelites through the book of Exodus. We begin with the story of Joseph and we will end at the wall of Jericho hundreds of years later. From Joseph to Joshua we will discover the good the bad and the ugly and find out that God’s plans for his family are good, and that no matter what evil has planned for us, Jesus has plans to turn it into good. By Choosing to live love and serve like Jesus we can be a part of his great plans.
This week we explore the story of Rahab and how she helped the Israelities. We also see how she became part of Jesus's Family tree. What Rahab knew, helped her choose, what she would do. Rahab knew that the God of the ISraelites was THE GOD. This meant she knew what to do when she had to make tough decisions.
Bible Texts — Joshua 2:1-24. Hebrews 11:31. James 2:25. Matthew 1:5.

A PRAYER WALL
Use this template, pieces of paper or sticky notes to write the names of people and situations you want to pray for. We do not know how things will turn out and sometimes we tend to worry about it or we get scared. When we pray and have faith we give these worries and uncertainties to God because He knows what to do! When you’ve given your worries to Him you need to have faith that He will make a way because He loves us.
Not My Arms Challenge
You will need two people for the challenge! One person stands behind the other. The person in front is only allowed to direct the other person with commands. The person at the back is only allowed to use their hands…no peeking!
Try to do something that is usually pretty easy like making a sandwich, brushing teeth or decorating a cupcake. Now try to do this by using the Not my arms challenge!
Rahab helped the Israelites… She had faith! Faith is believing something we can’t see.
With the Not My Arms challenge you will see how important it is to listen… it guides our actions. When we listen to God, and have faith in Him even if we can’t see Him, he will guide us and lead us.
Pulling Towards Jesus!
Get your friends to join in a game of tug of war!
When you pull towards Jesus you get closer to Him! Jesus calls on us to help each other. You will not be able to pull against a whole team by yourself… God places people in your life to help you. Just like you need their help sometimes, you need to make sure you are someone they can rely on too!
We would love to see you playing, trying, making and sharing! Please share your photos with your KellyvilleKids community in our WhatsApp Group. If you’re new to our KellyvilleKids community and would like to stay connected, contact us.
