June 4
Hey Kids
Our series for this month is is called Power inSacrifice.
Following the story of the people who believed God's word we find ourselves exploring the life of Abraham. We see how he trusted, he moved and he gave, over and over again believing in God’s promises to be true, even when he would not get to see them happen.
THIS WEEK
We explore how Abram moved from his home where he was comfortable to a place he knew nothing about. How do we feel about going into the unknown?

Dry Erase Stick Man Trick.
The stick man is stuck on the bottom of the plate unable to move until the water is added.
When we believe in Jesus and trust his word this is just like the water and the stick man.
We begin to move in a way that was impossible before.
What ways are you stuck?
Are you stuck in a bad habit? Add faith in Jesus and trust in his word to move you in a way to set you free.
Trace out movements over the week on your local map.
Its so interesting to see where we have been in our community and the places we have missed.
Imagine going somewhere where you have never been before and you would not know anyone there. This is what God asked Abram to do.
Check out a map of the world. Can you imagine where God will tell you to go?

Experimenting With Magnets
What can you get to move with or stick to a magnet? I want to be drawn to Jesus like these paper clips like a would not want to be anywhere else.
Watch how these iron filings move as the magnet moves. Abram moved because that is what God told him to do. Do we lean into and follow what Jesus tells us?
Blindfolded Obstacle Course.
Going into the unknown can be a scary thing. Rely on your friend to guide you through an obstacle course. Trust that they will lead you through.
